Please don’t worry or feel embarrassed. Our team help people every day with contraception, testing, and sexual health advice. We’ll explain everything and help you feel at ease.

For non-urgent appointments and queries please phone 0191 273 6222 between the following times:

  • Monday: 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Tuesday: 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Wednesday: 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Thursday: 10.30am - 4.30pm
  • Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm 

Clinic times:

  • Monday: 8.30am - 6.30pm
  • Tuesday: 8.30am - 7pm
  • Wednesday: 8.30am - 6.30pm
  • Thursday: 10.30am - 4.30pm
  • Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm

We also offer the following clinics:

  • Monday: 3pm - 7pm – LGBTQ+ clinic (walk-ins and appointments)
  • Tuesday: 5pm - 7pm - Women's health clinic (by appointment only)
  • Wednesday: 3:30pm - 5:30pm – Young person’s clinic ( walk-in, for anyone under 18)

 

If you need to be seen urgently

Please call us on 0191 273 6222:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8.30am-10.00am
  • Thursday: 10.30am-12 noon

We will assess you and do one of the following:

  • give you a same-day appointment
  • book you for another day
  • direct you to the right service.

If you feel unwell and think you need urgent care on a weekend please phone NHS 111.
